The Director, Finance and Administration will be responsible for the sound management of eCampusOntario finances and operations and the development of strategic business opportunities for the organization and value-added services to the Ontario postsecondary education sector. The successful candidate will provide leadership and excellence in the delivery of efficient, value-added, cost-effective finance and administrative services, and will grow and sustain the capacity of corporate services.
The position will be responsible for key functions of the organization: the strategic management of the finance, accounting, and procurement; as well as supervision of employees within these functions. The successful candidate will be accountable for the integrity of accounting and financial reporting for the organization, participating in creating annual budgets and monitoring budget implementation, including regular forecasting, financial and variance analysis.
The Director, Finance and Administration will advise the CEO and members of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and the Corporate Leadership Team (CLT) on strategic financial matters and budget implementation, including business process improvement to increase efficiency and the expenditure of public funds. The position will work with the CEO on the development and implementation of long range (five year) planning horizons and strategy, providing strategic business advice to the CEO and the Board as directed by the CEO.
